The Garda Youth Awards celebrates outstanding young people who contribute positively to society. They recognise the personal achievements and excellent work that is done by local young people in school and their communities. TCS students Nicole Smyth, Zak Riddell and Jenna O’Sullivan received awards for their contribution to society in a number of different areas.

Nicole received her outstanding achievement award for the work she does with the organization ICAN who work with children and families suffering with juvenile arthritis. Nicole mentors children drawing on her own experience of living with the condition. Zak won his award for his outstanding achievements in his chosen sport of kickboxing. Jenna O’Sullivan, who won the Group Award and is going to the National Finals, volunteers at Cheeverstown House, Templeogue.

Congratulations to all of our students. We are immensely proud of your success and we want to wish Jenna the best of TCS luck in the National Finals.
