The school applied for a JCSP initiative to have a professional artist in the classroom. We got glass artist Suzannah Vaughan to come in and do a glass work project using plastic pellets and copper plates.
2Boyne worked in groups to create a design, etch it into a copper plate and fill the design with plastic pellets. The copper plates were then put into the oven in the home economics room so the plastic pellets could melt and merge together.
