The 2010 first year group spent a day at Avon Rí, Blessington Lakeshore on Monday 20 September, 2010. The day is part of a programme of induction that helps new students to settle into TCS. The 109 students were accompanied by the Year Head, Ms MacGabhann, school chaplain, Fr Paul, teacher, Ms Gargan, SNAs Gráinne and Helen, and Home School Completion officer Noelle.
The day was very enjoyable with good weather and plenty of outdoor activities that encouraged team building and group bonding. The students saw action in kayaking, clay pigeon shooting, orienteering, football, zipwire, archery, climbing wall, low ropes and more, all under the excellent guidance of the Avon Rí staff. Great day out! Pics here.
